 Subchondral Bone & Joint Support

The nutrients found in Equine Leg Armor may be uniquely beneficial for horses in need of nutrients that support collagen production and bone remodeling.

Leg Injuries, whether they be to the bone or the joint can leave a horse sidelined with limited solutions available to the owner for rehabilitation of the injury.  We have established a combination of nutrients to support the bodies natural ability to support bone mineralization & collagen synthesis within tendons, ligaments, bone, joints.  Connective tissues are comprised of up to 90% collagen by dry weight, while bones are comprised of up to 30% collagen, an often overlooked fact.  The ingredients also focus on supporting vasodilation, to be sure that improved blood flow is supported so nutrients may be delivered to areas of the body that may have poor circulation (For example, navicular and coffin bones in the foot are notorious for being negatively influenced by poor circulation).  Horses in rehabilitation may require additional nutrients to support the bodies natural ability to produce collagen needed for connective tissue repair, such as found in the tendons, ligaments, bones and joints.  We usually suggest starting at 2-3 scoops twice daily for 3-5 months, at which point we recommend switching to half the feeding amount for general maintenance of nutrients that support healthy bone and collagen moving forward.

Feeding Instructions:

Give 2-3 scoops twice daily for horses in need of additional nutrient support during rehabilitation.
*We recommend giving 2-3 scoops twice daily for about 3-5 months before reducing the feed rate by half for horses regular exercise or training.
Give 1 scoop, twice daily for horses in regular training or exercise.
Give 1/2 scoop, twice daily at minimum.
*Per 1,000-1,2000lbs bodyweight

For younger animals, feed 1/2 scoop daily per 300 lbs. of body weight.

1-Gallon Jar  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~ 60 Single Scoop Servings
3.5-Gallon Bucket  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~ 210 Single Scoop Servings
5-Gallon Bucket  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~300 Single Scoop Servings

Please note: The one gallon size of Equine Leg Armor is not the best way to go for horses being fed at more than 1 scoop daily.  There are 60 servings in a container and we recommend it be fed at 4-6 scoops daily, so it will only last 2 weeks or less.  Horses are typically in rehabiltiation for 3-5 months, and it doesn't make sense to buy the smallest size every 2 weeks when you save 25% by simply going up to the 3.5 gallon size.
Please take this information into consideration when purchasing.
The one gallon size is intended to be a budget friendly size for those wishing to feed 1 scoop daily to support collagen synthesis & bone and joint health with a smaller initial expense.

All better

I have two Mini that have had several laminitis experiences from their previous owner. They both have been doing well and have been here for 2 years. I just thought I would try leg armor to see if it would be additional support. I’m sure glad I did! Henry and Zinna are moving with more fluidity and I see them in parts of the property that I never use too.
Thank you for this wonderful product.

Leg Armor

The product does exceptionally well for my 30+ horse who needs the extra support all around. Since I started feeding the leg armor in conjunction with his feed and other supplements, I can already see a difference. His limp that has been there forever seems to be gone! Fist time in a very long time.
